What curriculum do we use?

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Preschool uses the Creative Curriculum.  This curriculum, which is aligned with the State of Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards, will be enhanced with timely topics, children’s interests and ideas with both group and individual activities.  These activities will foster spiritual, motor, language, cognitive, creative, reading, writing, and social skills.  Each child will be encouraged at his/her own pace and will be evaluated at his/her own level.

Does our family have to be Catholic in order to attend Our Lady of Perpetual Help Preschool?

Our Lady of Perpetual Help welcomes all students, regardless of parish or religious faith.  Our school is a community rich with religious backgrounds and practices. We use “Catechesis of the Good Shepherd” (CGS) to introduce our students to the Roman Catholic faith and invite them to develop a relationship with Jesus.  CGS is a hands on, Montessori based program that encourages students to explore works aligned with the Diocese of Columbus Religion Graded Course of Study for Preschool age children.
